WHY ANNUAL TESTING IS IMPORTANT
Backflow testing is part of the annual maintenance required for each and every professionally installed irrigation system. It ensures the device is properly protecting your water supply from potential backflow.
We take back flow prevention very seriously as it can have costly even sometimes fatal consequences. We do not mess around when it comes to the safety of your drinking water because it's our drinking water too.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T TEST MY SYSTEM
FAILURE TO TEST YOUR DEVICE
If your underground sprinkler system has a double check valve assembly it has to be tested annually as required by the city of Calgary bylaws. Failure to test the device is punishable as per bylaw. Avoid this costly fine and call today.
BYLAW - 39 (3) - Every Customer shall, at their own expense, have any Testable Cross Connection Control Devices tested:
(a) at the time of installation of a new Testable Cross Connection Control Device
(b) annually or as required by the Director, Water Resources;
(c) at the time that a Testable Cross Connection Device is relocated
(d) at the time that a Testable Cross Connection Control Device is cleaned, repaired or overhauled
(e) in the case of an irrigation system, at the time the system is turned on at the beginning of each irrigation season.

FAILURE TO INSTALL A PROPER BACK FLOW DEVICE
If your sprinkler system does not have a double check valve installed it is in violation of the following bylaw. It is important you address this issue to ensure your water supply is properly protected.*

DVCA INSTALLATION CHARGE INCLUDING PERMITS - $700
We know that sometimes things don't go as planned, and for that reason we have made our cancellation policy as simple and fair as possible.

To avoid any charges, all cancellations must be received at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled service time.

For cancellations that are received less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled time, a $30 fee will be charged.

If your cancellation is received after the scheduled time, or in the event of a no-show, a 50% fee will be charged.
